According to the corrector, the importance of correcting and publishing this work lies in several important points that he has mentioned in his introduction. Understanding the lineage of Chingiz Khan, given the extent of the influence of this people on Persian culture, art, history and literature, especially during the period of his descendants, the Timurids, the Ilkhanids and the Gurkhanids of India, and the role of Iranians in the scientific and cultural advancement of these periods, is essential. For this reason, writing dynastic books was very important for the Mongols to preserve their identity.
